The Circle season 4 spoilers: Who was blocked and eliminated in episodes 1-4?

The Circle season 4 kicked off on Wednesday, May 4 with what proved to be an eventful first four episodes that set the tone for another incredible season ahead!

Not only did we meet our first players of the season, but the first four episodes of season 4  saw our first blocking of the season, the introduction of several new contestants and the arrival of two beloved Pop Culture icons who quickly managed to shake up the game.

ALERT!  We’re about to get into spoilers for the first four episodes of The Circle season 4. Before we get into the first elimination of the season, let’s start at the very beginning!

The new season began with eight players moving into The Circle in hopes of making it to finale night and winning the grand prize. First to join The Circle this year were Frank, Yu Ling, Alyssa, Crissa and Bru as well as catfish John and Parker, who joined the circle as Carol and Paul, respectively. They were later joined by Rachel and catfish Nathan and Jared — the latter of which is actually Spice Girls Mel B and Emma Bunton playing as a catfish!

Who was sent home this week on The Circle? (May 4, 2022)

Although we’re used to seeing multiple eliminations in the first episodes of The Circle, The Circle season 4 shook things up and only featured the elimination of one contestant that person being Paul aka Parker.

In episode 1, the first seven contestants ranked one another which saw Frank and Carol (aka John) named the first influencers of the season. Meanwhile, Paul and Yu Ling found themselves at the bottom of the totem pole at seventh and sixth, respectively.

Unfortunately for Paul (aka Parker), he was unable to make enough connections in The Circle and was blocked in episode 2 by Carol and Frank.

It was definitely odd only seeing one departure in the first batch of episodes, but that just seems to suggest the eliminations are going to start coming fast and hard as the season progresses — which should make for an eventful stretch!

The Circle is streaming now on Netflix! New episodes of season 4 will drop every Wednesday in May beginning on May 4, 2022!
