The long-awaited 365 Days sequel has finally arrived on Netflix! You can watch 365 Days: This Day right now on the streaming service, which means fans can finally get an answer to a question that has plagued them since the movie’s original release date in 2020: Did Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) survive the assassination attempt in the tunnel?

Spoilers ahead for the beginning of 365 Days: This Day

Let me preface this article by saying that it is specifically about resolving the cliffhanger that occurred at the end of 365 Days, not about what happens throughout 365 Days: This Day. So if you’re worried about getting spoiled for the whole movie, don’t worry! What we’re covering happens within the first 10 minutes or so of the sequel.

If you’re just dying to know what happened to Laura because you don’t have time to watch until later or you’re in luck, we’ll let you know right here!

365 Days: What happened to Laura in the tunnel?

If you were hoping to get answers regarding what happened to Laura in the tunnel…well, we don’t get any in the movie. She almost died and somehow she lost the baby. That’s all we know. The sequel doesn’t really spend any time discussing what actually happened inside, whether it was a car accident or what, who knows!

Did Laura survive the assassination attempt in 365 Days: This Day?

Those who have watched the trailer or seen the images released for the new movie probably already know the answer to this, but just to confirm it’s real and not a dream sequence or anything: Yes, Laura and Olga (Magdalena Lamparska) both survived the tunnel assassination attempt. The movie begins with Massimo (Michele Morrone) and Laura finally tying the knot and enjoying the honeymoon phase of wedded bliss.

Is Laura still pregnant in 365 Days: This Day?

At the end of the first movie, Laura revealed that she was pregnant, but had yet to tell Massimo. Early in 365 Days: This Day, Laura and Olga talk about how she actually lost the baby during the assassination attempt. Olga encourages Laura to tell Massimo the truth, since it’s never a good idea to keep dark secrets from your spouse.

Not only does Massimo not know that Laura was pregnant, he also doesn’t know she lost the baby. Laura is concerned that if she tells him, it will make things much worse as he’ll become even more hellbent on revenge and start an all-out war with the rival mafia.

So there you have it! Now you know where things stand at the beginning of 365 Days: This Day, but, of course, all of this could change in a matter of seconds as the sequel is supposedly stocked with some jaw-dropping twists.
