The Gray Man release date confirmed for July 2022

Have no fear, The Gray Man is almost here! You read that right. Netflix has finally handed out a release date for the upcoming Netflix film, and it’s sooner than you think.

The Gray Man is an action-adventure movie directed by the gifted Russo brothers (Anthony and Joe Russo) from a script co-written by Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, and Joe Russo. Like most Netflix originals, The Gray Man is based on a book. The novel is titled the same name as the film, and it’s by Mark Greaney.

The Russo brothers’ production company named AGBO produced the film. The company is best known for producing the box office hits Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. It has also produced the Netflix film Extraction and the upcoming Extraction 2.

The creative duo has plans to develop The Gray Man into one of the biggest film franchises there is. I mean, the movie cost the streamer $200 million, making it tie with Red Notice as the most expensive Netflix movie. So I would hope that the film is successful and pays off.

With an impressive cast lineup including Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Regé-Jean Page, Ana de Armas, Alfre Woodard, Billy Bob Thornton, and Callan Mulvey, we’re expecting the big-budget spy thriller to fare well on the streamer. Sadly, we don’t have an official trailer to share with you yet, but we have some first-look photos and the official release date below.

The Gray Man release date

We had first reported back in March that The Gray Man could be arriving on Netflix sometime in July. But this was just a release rumor that we found through the movie’s official IMDb page and Wikipedia page. Now it looks like the release rumor is true. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, The Gray Man will be released in theaters on July 15 before making its way to Netflix on July 22. As always, you can expect the action film to land on Netflix at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on its release date.
