Dynasty has another Melrose Place reunion coming down the pipeline! The CW’s fan-favorite reboot of the 1980s soap of course stars Grant Show as the billionaire businessman Blake Carrington. Show rose to prominence in the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off Melrose Place on which he starred for five seasons with Daphne Zuniga, who will be in Dynasty season 5.

Variety reported the news of Daphne Zuniga’s guest starring role in the fifth season of Dynasty. In lieu of a recurring stint alongside her one-time on-screen boyfriend, Zuniga will appear for one episode, which will air on Friday, April 29 at 9/8c on The CW.

Although it’s not the first time some of the Melrose Place cast has reunited, since they have remained tight off-screen, it’s the biggest on-screen reunion yet for Daphne Zuniga and Grant Show, who played Jo Reynolds and Jake Hanson on the popular primetime soap.

It’s also not the first Melrose Place reunion Dynasty has hosted. Naturally, a few of Show’s one-time co-stars have made their way to Atlanta to rub elbows with the Carrington family. But fans should be especially excited for the upcoming guest spot from Zuniga. Here’s everything you need to know about the past reunions and Zuniga’s role in Dynasty season 5.

Melrose Place reunions on Dynasty

As Dynasty fans remember very well, Kelly Rutherford appeared in a recurring role across the first and second seasons as Melissa Daniels. Rutherford co-starred in Melrose Place for its final three seasons, overlapping with Show for season 5. (Also, Rutherford starred in Gossip Girl, whose executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage also developed Dynasty.)

In Dynasty season 4, the biggest reunion from the 90210 spin-off took place as Laura Leighton dropped by to cross paths with Fallon and Liam. Unfortunately, Leighton didn’t share any scenes with Grant Show, but the erstwhile Sydney Andrews’ appearance was special nonetheless. Maybe she’ll reprise her role in a future episode.

Daphne Zuniga guest stars on Dynasty season 5

The latest and objectively biggest Melrose Place reunion yet arrives in Dynasty season 5 as Daphne Zuniga guest stars as Sonya Jackson, a woman from Blake’s past who arrives to conjure some drama at the manor. We can’t wait to see Show and Zuniga back onscreen together!
