365 Days sequel sets release date (and it’s sooner than you think!)

Netflix just announced that the sequel to the erotic Polish film 365 Days is releasing much sooner than anyone could have anticipated. 365 Days 2, or 365 Days: This Day as it is officially titled, will be available to stream later this month!

The first film started streaming on Netflix in June 2020 and quickly garnered millions of views across the globe. It even became one of Netflix’s most-watched movies of all time. Two sequels went into production shortly after its debut, following a similar trajectory to another steamy film trilogy based on books, Fifty Shades of Grey.

Michele Morrone and Anna-Maria Sieklucka are returning as lead characters Don Massimo Torricelli and Laura Biel. Additional stars include Magdalena Lamparska and Simone Susinna. The new film is directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes from a script Mandes co-wrote with Mojca Tirs and Blanka Lipińska. Mandes also serves as a producer alongside Ewa Lewandowska and Maciej Kawulski from Open Mind One.

365 Days: This Day release date

Fans don’t have to wait too much longer to watch the highly-anticipated sequel. This Day will start streaming on Netflix Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Those on the east coast will be able to watch the movie at 3:00 a.m. ET that day, while west coasters can watch earlier at midnight PT.

The 2020 movie was based on the first book in a trilogy by Blanka Lipińska, so we can assume the second movie will adapt the second novel’s storyline.

"Laura and Massimo are back and hotter than ever. But the reunited couple’s new beginning is complicated by Massimo’s family ties and a mysterious man who enters Laura’s life to win her heart and trust, at any cost."
