Netflix is adding 24 new movies and shows this week

A new week is here and that means Netflix is adding a bunch of new movies and shows to their lineup. This week, they are adding a new season of a Netflix Original series, a new Netflix movie, and a new season of a show based on a popular Dr. Seuss book.

Season 5 of Elite is finally here! It’s hitting the streaming service on Friday, April 8, 2022. The show follows a group of teenagers at a private school in Spain, but not all the students have come from the same privileged background. Unfortunately, they have a lot more to worry about than friendship problems, finances, and grades because people are getting murdered!

For season 5, the show will focus on a new mystery now that Armando is dead and Mencía is no longer in danger. But since Armando’s body has yet to be found, that could still be a major issue in the new season. There is also likely to be plenty of relationship drama as well.

This week also brings Metal Lords on Friday, April 8, 2022. The movie was written by everyone’s not-so-favorite Game of Thrones creator, D.B. Weiss. The movie follows two friends who try to form a metal band with the help of a cellist. They are trying to win their local Battle of the Bands.

The movie stars Joe Manganiello, Jaeden Martell, Brett Gelman, Sufe Bradshaw, Isis Hainsworth, and Michelle Mao.

Season 2 of Green Eggs & Ham is also coming to Netflix on Friday, April 8, 2022. The series is based on the very popular Dr. Seuss book. The cast that voices the characters includes Michael Douglas, Adam Devine, Patricia Clarkson, Darren Criss, Ilana Glazer, Diane Keaton, Eddie Izzard, Jillian Bell, Keagan-Michael Key, and Jeffrey Wright.

This season, Sam is looking for his mom and she is not what you might expect. She’s an international super-spy! It also looks like there is a war going on between Zookia and Yookia and Sam and Guy are caught up in the conflict.
