Who’s ready for a teen romance? A new Netflix original for teens is coming to the streamer in April. The movie is set to sweep viewers off their feet as the characters fall in love under the cover of night in Along for the Ride.

It’s the summer before college and Auden can’t sleep. Though, in her case, it’s not due to pre-college jitters. Auden is an insomniac. She’s used to being up while the rest of the world sleeps. However, she’s mainly spent her time as a nocturnal teen alone. At least, she had before she met Eli.

Like Auden, Eli can’t sleep at night. Their seaside town won’t know what hit it when the two become friends with the potential to slip into the sweetness of romance. While they both can’t sleep for different reasons, they’re bonded by their shared experience.

Also, Eli’s made it his mission to help Auden embrace the reckless joy of being a teenager. She’s spent her teen years being the well-behaved daughter her parents wanted her to be and it’s gotten her nowhere. Deciding to finally embrace fun and be less controlled, Auden lets Eli show her what it means to be carefree.
