We knew a release date announcement would be coming soon since principal photography on the remaining episodes finished in November. A Netflix original typically spends up to six months in post-production. However, the post-production process could finish earlier or take longer than six months. With a release in April, this means the comedy series would have spent five months in post-production.

We also had an inkling that the last episodes of Grace and Frankie season 7B could be coming in April because the Grace and Frankie Wikipedia page said the remaining 12 episodes would be released in April 2022. Now it looks like the Grace and Frankie season 7 release rumor is true because the final episodes will, in fact, land on Netflix this April.

Netflix announced on its official Twitter page that the final episodes of the seventh season will be released on Netflix on Friday, April 29, 2022. As always, you can expect all twelve episodes to be dropped at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET. on its release date. The remaining episodes will be about 30 minutes long, just like prior episodes.

It’s unknown if Netflix will release a trailer for the last episodes, but you can count on us to share it if the streamer does.

It’s going to be a sad day when we have to say goodbye to the heartfelt comedy series. But we understand that Grace and Frankie have reached the end of the road. So gather your friends and get ready to send off one of the best Netflix original series ever!
