Emma Pasarow is the star of Netflix’s upcoming drama film Along for the Ride. Pasarow will star as Auden, a young girl attempting to enjoy her last summer before college. She meets Eli, a fellow insomniac, and the two embark on fun nightly quests while their town sleeps so Auden can experience the carefree life she never knew she wanted.

Along for the Ride is based on the novel of the same name by popular YA author Sarah Dessen. The movie is the first of three novels Netflix has picked up as they also secured the rights to Dessen’s The Lullaby and Once and For All.

Sofia Alvarez, the successful screenwriter behind To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, will make her directorial debut with this movie. Besides Pasarow, the film also stars Belmont Cameli, Kate Bosworth, Laura Kariuki, Andie MacDowell and Dermot Mulroney.

Along for the Ride will premiere on April 22, 2022.
