Netflix is adding 9 new movies and shows this week

A new week is here and that means new movies and shows are being added to Netflix. The amount of new things coming this week is by no means a lot, but there is a least one fan-favorite Netflix Original coming back to the streaming service.

This week also brings a new season of a historical drama and a documentary series about women’s pleasure and the many myths surrounding it.

Bridgerton is back! Season 2 will be headed to Netflix on Friday, March 25, 2022, and it will be hotter than ever. This season is all about Anthony Bridgerton and he is looking for a wife. As you can probably guess, that means the ladies are going wild.

But he has his eye on Edwina Sharma. Unfortunately, he has to get through her sister Kate first. And Kate…well, Anthony might find her more intriguing than her sister.

Call the Midwife season 10 is also headed to Netflix this week. It’s coming out on Monday, March 21, 2022. The series follows a group of midwives (some of whom are nuns) in the ’50s and ’60s as they deliver babies and deal with heartbreak, joy, and friendship in and outside of work.

In season 10, it’s 1966 and the women’s movement is intensifying. The women must deal with that while struggling with finances and religion.

A new documentary discussing women’s pleasure is also coming to Netflix this week. The Principle of Pleasure hits the streaming service on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.  The docu-series will put myths to rest and talks about sex, joy, and what modern science is saying about women and pleasure.

This looks a lot better/more scientifically accurate than any of the Goop-related shows that have come out.
