Heartstopper release date confirmed for April 2022 (and watch the teaser)

Heartstopper is coming to Netflix this April 2022, and this heartfelt story you must see! The original series is just one of many new releases coming this spring. We shared all the important details about Heartstopper, including the official release date and teaser!

It’s a coming-of-age series adapted from the webcomic and graphic novel titled the same name by Alice Oseman. The story follows a young teen named Charlie who befriends rugby-loving Nick at secondary school, and their unlikely friendship eventually turns into an unexpected romance.

Newcomer Joe Locke leads the cast as Charlie Spring and Kit Connor as Nick Nelson. The rest of the cast includes William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Sebastian Croft, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Rhea Norwood, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Fisayo Akinade, Chetna Pandya and Alan Turkington.

Heartstopper release date

Heartstopper will make its landing on Netflix on Friday, April 22, 2022. The first season consists of eight episodes. Each episode will be about 30 minutes long. You can expect all eight episodes to be released at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on April 22.

The teen series is rated TV-14. According to Netflix’s maturity ratings, this rating means that many parents will find this show unsuitable for children aged 14 and under. There might be some coarse language used, so parents are strongly cautioned.

Based on the teaser, I can already tell that there will be several emotional scenes that will have you boohooing. Still, I can’t wait to see the beautiful yet complicated love story unfold between Charlie and Nick in Heartstopper.
