The tenth One Piece film in the series, One Piece Film: Strong World, arrives on Netflix this Tuesday, March 15. If you’re a fan of the anime or just interested in watching the movie, you’ve come to the right place to learn everything you need to know about the film!

This film was written by the manga creator himself, Eiichiro Oda and directed by Munehisa Saka. The cast includes the vocal talents of Mayumi Tanaka, Kazuya Nakai, Akemi Okamura, Kappei Yamaguchi, Hiroaki Hirata, Ikue Ohtani, Yuriko Yamaguchi, Kazuki Yao, Chō, Naoto Takenaka, Kosuke Kitajima and Aiko Kaitō.

Just to ensure there is no confusion, this movie is not a “new” film and it is not a Netflix Original. It’s a 2009 film that just happens to be arriving on Netflix soon, which should be exciting to fans of the long-running anime.

What is One Piece Film: Strong World about?

The pirate Shiki returns in this One Piece movie to kidnap a member of the straw hat pirate crew and try to destroy the World Government. The other straw hats must band together to rescue their friend and escape Shiki’s clutches, stopping him before it’s too late.

Shiki is an evil pirate captain who takes Nami because he intends to capture the entirety of the East Blue, and he needs her skills to help him navigate. Can Luffy and the rest of the gang save Nami before Shiki accomplishes his plans?
