When will Outlander season 6 be on Netflix?

Outlander season 6 finally premiered on Starz over the weekend. Fans were ecstatic to see that the romantic time-traveling series is back, meaning plenty more time to be spent with Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser ahead.

The one downside is that Outlander season 6 will be much shorter than previous seasons at just eight episodes. We have the pandemic to blame for that, although the good thing is that the episodes will be slightly longer. Plus, the already-renewed seventh season will be extra long to make up for the truncated season.

But while Outlander‘s latest season has recently debuted on Starz, fans are already interested in finding out when they will be able to watch the new season on Netflix.

When will Outlander season 6 be on Netflix?

It’s going to be a long wait. Outlander is not a Netflix Original series, so the streamer can only add seasons based on previously agreed upon licensing deals and agreements made with the distribution company, in this case, Starz.

Outlander season 5 is not even available yet on Netflix and probably won’t be until May at the earliest. So far, Netflix has been adding seasons two years after their initial premiere on Starz. That means Outlander season 6 probably won’t be added until March 2024. That’s a long time!

The good news is that the fifth season should be on Netflix sooner rather than later, so if that is your only way of watching the show, then at least you can watch the 12-episode fifth season within a few months.

You need a Starz subscription to watch the latest season. You can either get one directly through the Starz website, or you can get Starz as an add-on through services like YouTube TV, Hulu Live or Prime Video.
