With The Batman movie receiving tons of hype, many Dark Knight fans are eager to relive some of the caped crusader’s earlier on-screen endeavors, such as Tim Burton’s Batman, the 1989 cult classic. Wondering if Batman starring Michael Keaton, is one of the many stellar superhero movies to enjoy on Netflix? Throw on a cowl and cape, and keep reading!

Many famous actors have worn the costume of DC’s most iconic non-powered vigilante, including Ben Affleck, Adam West, Christian Bale, George Clooney, Val Kilmer, and Robert Pattinson. But the one person to really kick things off for Batman’s cinematic journey was none other than Keaton’s take on the comic hero.

Keaton, who will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne once again for the DCEU’s Flash film, threw on the bat-inspired fatigues in what many fans revere as a solid outing for Gotham’s Caped Crusader. Tim Burton’s direction, Jack Nicholson’s Joker, and Kim Basinger’s Vicki Vale performance are just some of the reasons the film Batman still has a significant amount of replay value.

While Batman is much different than the Justice League’s versions of the character, The Batman, or The Dark Knight Trilogy, it still holds a special place in many fans’ hearts. It makes sense, given all the craze surrounding the hero these days, that many Netflix subscribers would be eager to find out if the dark, gritty, comic book-based tale is on the streamer for everyone to enjoy!

Is Tim Burton’s Batman available on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Netflix will not be lighting the bat signal to alert others to the presence of the film in question. This is because Batman is not on the streamer as of writing this post, and it is unknown if things are going to change anytime soon.

There are several other superhero movies that fans of the caped crusader are sure to find exhilarating from start to finish. Some of these exceptional titles include Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Major Grom: Plague Doctor, Project Power, and The Old Guard, to name a few.
