What is Earthquake: Legendary about on Netflix?

Dave Chappelle kicked off his four-part comedy series with Earthquake: Legendary, which is now streaming only on Netflix! Keep reading to learn more about the new Netflix comedy special.

On Feb. 18, Variety reported that Netflix announced that Dave Chappelle would executive produce Chappelle’s Home Team, a series of stand-alone comedy specials featuring comedians hand-picked by Chappelle himself.

The Netflix specials are directed by Emmy and Grammy award winner Stan Lathan, and at the beginning of each comedy special, Dave Chappelle introduces the comedian. The first comedian to start off the comedy series is Nathaniel Martin Stroman, otherwise known as Earthquake.

Chappelle has recently found himself in many controversies, so we’re unsure how Earthquake: Legendary will fare on Netflix with his name attached. However, if you’re a fan of stand-up comedy, we recommend you check out Earthquake’s set on Netflix.

Earthquake: Legendary synopsis

In the comedy special, Earthquake gives his opinions on the saying “health is wealth,” prostate exams, disciplining kids, and one particularly long celebrity funeral. It’s only 36 minutes long, so it’s a pretty quick watch.

Seeing as though most comedy specials are rated TV-MA, it comes as no surprise that Earthquake: Legendary is rated the same. There will be a lot of crude, indecent language used, so make sure your kids are tucked in and ready for bed before you turn on the Netflix special.
