All American season 4 spoilers: JoJo joins cast in recurring role

All American season 4 returns to The CW on Monday, Feb. 21.

We’ll keep the spoilers to a minimum, but do know that once again Spencer James’ future is hanging in the balance. It seems this teen can’t catch a break. Every time it looks like things are looking up, a wrench gets thrown into his plans.

We, however, are in for a treat when it comes to the rest of the season. The talented sing-songwriter and actress, JoJo, is coming to the show in a recurring role and we won’t be waiting long for her to make an appearance. The midseason premiere, “Walk This Way,” is when she’ll be making her debut.

Who does JoJo play on All American season 4?

Season 4 won’t be throwing us a curveball with JoJo’s role, but we are excited for what’s to come with her and Layla (Greta Onieogou). According to Deadline, JoJo will be playing Sabine, a recording artist who started making music when she was 10 years old.

Sabine, like all artists looking to switch up their style and evolve, is in search of a new sound. That’s where Layla comes in. We all know that the producer has been making quite the name for herself. Though she’s still on the come-up, Layla’s the kind of fresh talent in the industry that’s catching people’s attention and, clearly, she’s caught Sabine’s.

The world famous artist is interested in collaborating with Layla on her next album. Layla’s worked her magic with both Coop and Patience’s talent, we can’t wait to see what she and Sabine will cook up together in the studio once JoJo makes her All American debut.
