How many episodes are in Space Force season 2?

T-Minus two days until the season 2 premiere of Space Force! We hope you’re just as excited as we are about this upcoming release because this new season is going to be a wild ride from start to finish, especially since all of your favorite rambunctious characters are returning in the sophomore season.

In just a few more days, you’ll see how Mark R. Naird (Steve Carell) will deal with both himself and his fellow peers running into trouble with the law following his many, many blunders in the previous season. Not to mention the fact that we’ll maybe get to know a little more about why Mark’s wife, Maggie (Lisa Kudrow), went to jail in the first place. (What is her serious crime?!) However, what we’re looking forward to seeing the most is how Mark will prove his capability to the President… hopefully.

All of this and more are sure to be touched upon in the second season, but with a major drop in episode count, there may be a chance season 2 won’t have enough time to answer our burning questions.

Space Force season 2 has been given seven episodes, three episodes fewer than its first season.

It is unknown why Netflix users are receiving fewer episodes this time around but, if we had to guess, it may be due to the mixed receptions that almost put the entire show in jeopardy. Fortunately, these mixed reviews weren’t enough to prevent the return of this comedy series.

Perhaps, after viewing the second season, Netflix will decide to grant Space Force more episodes. While we wait for this decision, however, check out the official trailer for the anticipated second season in the video below.
