Next in Fashion is returning to Netflix! The competition series, originally hosted by Tan France and Alexa Chung, pit designers against one another in a contest to win 250,000 dollars and have their collection be sold on Net-a-Porter.

The show made its debut at the end of January in 2020 and had a ten episode run. By June, Next in Fashion had been canceled. As such, the news that the series will be returning for a second season comes as a surprise, though it is a welcome one.

Fans of the series won’t be seeing Chung in season 2, at least not as a co-host, however France has signed on for another round of the competition and he won’t be alone. When Netflix made the season 2 announcement via their Twitter, it came with the news that Gigi Hadid will be joining France as co-host. There’s been no word on whether Chung will make an appearance at all during season 2.

When can Next in Fashion fans expect to see the upcoming season? Here’s what we know!

Does Next in Fashion season 2 have a release date?

An official release date for season 2 has yet to be announced. That’s not surprising since the show is likely in the beginnings of development on the second season. This news is coming rather early in the year, so it’s possible we could see Next in Fashion make its return in late 2022.

However, season 1 did wrap in May 2019 but didn’t premiere until January of the following year, so we could be waiting until 2023 for the competition to debut its second season.

We’ll keep you posted on more release date news as it comes in. Stay tuned to Netflix Life, your go-to site for all things Netflix from what’s coming and going from the platform to the latest original series making their debuts!
