Netflix is adding 10 new movies and shows this week

A new week is here and that means Netflix is adding new movies and shows to its lineup. They are by no means a ton of new things being added this week but there definitely a few things to look out for.

This week brings a new season of a kids series, a new series based on a podcast, and a new mystery series that will feature all the tropes from the most popular mystery movies we’ve seen over the years.

Season 2 of Ada Twist, Scientist is one of the first new things coming to Netflix this week. The new season hits the streaming service on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022. The show is based on a collection of children’s books by Andrea Beaty. It follows Ada Twist and her two best friends as they work together to find the truth about everything scientific.

Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness also comes to Netflix this week. It releases on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022. The show is a spin-off of Van Ness’ podcast of the same name.

Netflix adds The Woman in the House and Ada Twist, Scientist this week

In the show, the grooming expert from Queer Eye looks into everything from his favorite snacks to wigs to bugs and ice skating. He meets up with experts to learn more about everything he’s fascinated by.

More in the mood for a mystery? Netflix’s newest mystery series (with the longest title ever) also comes out on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022. The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window stars Kristin Bell, Michael Ealy, Appy Pratt, Nicole Pulliam, and Tom Riley.

The eight-episode series tells the story of Anna, a heartbroken woman who starts to have some hope when a handsome stranger moves in next door. But her hopes are quickly dashed when she witnesses a murder. Or did she? Not everything is what it seems.
