Do Darlene and Wyatt get married in Ozark season 4 part 1?

Netflix’s weirdest couple are back! Darlene Snell and Wyatt Langmore are prominently featured in Ozark season 4, which dropped on Netflix on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022.

Everyone is talking about the couple (for more reasons than one!). Most of the chatter is about the end of the season, but some of it involves the relationship between the two characters and their future.

Spoilers ahead for Ozark season 4! 

Do Darlene and Wyatt break up in Ozark season 4?

ALMOST.

I don’t really care for many of the characters in Ozark, but I was rooting so hard for Wyatt to break up with Darlene in Ozark season 4. It was so close to happening. He had the whole speech laid out and everything.

Then, he gets to the Snell house and Darlene is upset. She claims social services is going to take the baby. Wyatt breaks down and chooses to stay with Darlene.

The most cringe-worthy couple on Netflix lives on.

Wyatt, then, breaks the news to Ruth that he isn’t leaving with her and Three. Instead, he’s marrying Darlene and staying.

Darlene and Wyatt get married in the Snell house with Zeke and Three as witnesses. It’s a small ceremony. Ruth is not invited.

Darlene and Wyatt obviously live happily ever after taking care of their “son,” Zeke, right? Wrong!

Just when we think that the Kansas City Mob and Frank Cosgrove Jr. have decided not to act against Darlene, Javi shows up and kills Darlene and Wyatt for continuing in the heroin trade when the Byrdes and the Navarro cartel specifically asked them not to.

It’s a rough end for Darlene and Wyatt. I’m so bummed Wyatt is gone, but I couldn’t stand any more of Darlene. Her death was long overdue.

We’ll see what the fallout is when Ozark season 4 part 2 drops on Netflix later this year.
