Human Resources release date updates, cast, synopsis, and more

The Netflix series Big Mouth is a hugely popular adult animated sitcom that recently released its fifth season on the streamer. This series is raunchy and authentic, making it very relatable and a lot of fun. Now the creators are bringing a new original spinoff series called Human Resources. 

The spinoff will take place in the world of monsters. The announcement for this series was made at Big Mouth’s New York City Comic-Con panel. Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, and Kelly Galuska will serve as creators and executive producers on the project.

Netflix has a great lineup of adult animated series, including Paradise PD, Chicago Party Aunt, F is for Family, and BoJack Horseman.

Human Resources release date

On Jan. 12, Netflix announced the official release date for Human Resources. The Big Mouth spinoff will make its premiere on March 18, 2022. The upcoming release precedes the forthcoming sixth season of the sire series.

Until the highly anticipated premieres of the new spinoff series, Netflix has five seasons of Big Mouth to carry fans through.

Human Resources cast

Big Mouth stars Kroll, Maya Rudolph, David Thewlis, and season 4 writer Brandon Kyle Goodman will be joined by a cast of newcomers in this series. Aidy Bryant, Randall Park, and Keke Palmer will all lend their voice talents to Human Resources.

Along with the announcement of the March release date, Netflix also revealed a handful of new cast members added to the spinoff. Human Resources will feature the voice talents of Rosie Perez, Jemaine Clement, Thandiwe Newton, Bobby Cannavale, Henry Winkler, and Maria Bamford. That’s one talented cast!

Human Resources synopsis

This series will take a look at the Hormone Monsters featured in Big Mouth. Each monster represents a character’s hormones and guides them through their emotional lives. The monsters will have their chance to shine in the spinoff series.

Human Resources trailer

The official teaser trailer is only a short clip, and in it, we see random monsters walking what looks like on their way to work. The sign reads Human Resources: We manage people. This series was pitched as “Big Mouth meets The Office.”
