The television series was created by Katie Wech and stars Sophia Bush as Dr. Sam Griffith and Jason Isaacs as Dr. Rob Griffith. It’s about a top surgeon who takes over a new leadership role as chief of surgery after her distinguished boss and father falls into a coma. However, things become complicated when Dr. Rob Griffith awakens from his coma and demands to resume surgery. Dr. Sam Griffith is then tasked with having to supervise him closely.

Skye P. Marshall, Michael Stahl-David, Davi Santos, Omar Maskati, Wendy Crewson, Edwin Hodge, and Ray Strachan star alongside Bush and Isaacs in this medical drama.

Good Sam begins airing on CBS on Wednesday, Jan. 5 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT. You can expect new episodes to air every Wednesday going forward.
