Emily in Paris season 2 is now streaming on Netflix. Fans waited more than a year for the new season to see what Emily and co. have been up to since the end of season 1.
No matter what you feel about this show, you have to admit the production value is incredible. The locations, set design, and costume design are as good or better than any comedy on TV right now.
One of the most common questions fans have about Emily in Paris is about where it’s filmed. Obviously, the first season was filmed in Paris. But, what about season 2, which was filmed during the pandemic? Were they able to go back to Paris to film the new season of the Netflix original series?

Yes! Emily in Paris season 1 AND season 2 were filmed in Paris, France. It’s pretty, pretty, pretty clear if you watch the new season 2, that Emily in Paris season 2 was filmed in Paris, France.
But, with all the CGI and special effects these days, they can make any sound stage or green screen look like anywhere in the world. So, it makes sense why fans would wonder.
Production on Emily in Paris season 2 started in May 2021. The cast and crew faced a tough task with all of the COVID-19 restrictions. There are 10 episodes in the new season. The cast and crew wrapped production in mid-July 2021.
We’re still waiting to hear the word on Emily in Paris season 3. If the show is renewed for season 3, we have to imagine that production will also take place in — you guessed it — Paris.
