Gentefied

Gentefied is not just one of the most underrated Netflix shows of 2021. This is one of the most underrated Netflix shows of all time. Seriously.

Gentefied tells the story of the Morales family as they come together to try to save their grandpa’s restaurant and help him through his immigration case.

The series has a great cast with Joaquín Cosío, J.J. Soria, Karrie Martin Lachney, and Carlos Santos, along with Julissa Calderon, Annie Gonzalez, Bianca Melgar, Laura Patalano, Manuel Uriza, Ivana Rojas, and Clarissa Thibeaux.

I’m really hoping that Gentefied is renewed for season 3. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard much about the renewal yet, which is not necessarily a bad thing. But, we haven’t seen the series popping up much on the Netflix top 10, which is quite concerning considering how Netflix has shifted it’s approach to renewing titles with lots of viewers.

So, for now, we’ll wait. And while we wait, you should watch Gentefied.
