Is Station Eleven on Netflix?

Station Eleven is a new miniseries based on the very popular novel by Emily St. John Mandel. When a book has over 300,000 reviews on Goodreads and an average four-star rating, there is a good chance it’s going to be adapted into something.

The miniseries tells a story that may be a little too close to home for some of us. It takes place 20 years after a flu pandemic that resulted in the end of civilization. But while the population of the world is significantly decreased, there are a group of survivors who make a living as traveling performers.

But while the pandemic is over, the world is still not healed. While traveling, the group of performers comes upon a violent cult led by a man who may be linked to someone in the group. You know there are going to be some twists and turns!

The miniseries stars Joe Pingue, Mackenzie Davis, Danielle Deadwyler, Himesh Patel, Dylan Taylor, David Wilmot, Nabhaan Rizwan, Matilda Lawler, Deborah Cox, Philippine Velge, and Beau Dixon.

Is Station Eleven on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Station Eleven is not on Netflix and will likely not be coming to Netflix.

If you’re looking for something similar on Netflix, there is always the docuseries, Pandemic (I swear Netflix recommends this when you type “Station Eleven” into their search engine), Lost In Space, 3%, and the sci-fi movie How It Ends. They all sound equally sad and traumatic, although Lost in Space does have a few lighter moments.

Where to watch Station Eleven

Since Station Eleven is exclusively on HBO Max, you’ll have to subscribe to the streaming service in order to watch the show.

The first episode will be released on Dec. 16 at 12:00 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET and the future episodes will be available every Thursday after that.
