Firefly Lane is one of the most popular Netflix shows of the year so far. The Netflix original series is based on the book of the same name by Kristin Hannah. It’s the first book of a two-book series.

The series has an incredible cast with great chemistry. Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke are really, really good together in this show.

The series tells the story of two friends, Tully (Heigl) and Kate (Chalke), through the decades starting when they were teenagers. As adults, their lives are much, much different than they once were, and they are both trying to move on from various things that have happened to them.

In May 2021, Firefly Lane season 2 was finally confirmed! Fans should rest easy as although there isn’t a release date for the next season yet, we know it’s going to happen. There’s so much potential with this show, and so it only made sense the streaming service would renew it for more.
