Fans are patiently waiting for Virgin River season 4 to hit Netflix, but we have some good news to share with fans of the Netflix original series!

Breckenridge confirmed that she wrapped production on Virgin River season 4, according to Express. Breckenridge shared the update on Instagram.

It’s unclear if the full cast and crew have wrapped, but usually, when the main cast starts announcing they are done, the rest of the cast and crew are not far behind.

Virgin River season 4 release date

There seems to be a little confusion about Virgin River season 4, and that’s probably because this is the time of year that fans expect new seasons. The first two seasons of the series were added to Netflix in the fall (November and December), and season 3 was the only season so far not to be released during this time of year.

Instead, Virgin River season 3 premiered in the summer of 2021. Doing so opened the door for new seasons of Virgin River to be released at other times of the year.

The release date predictions for Virgin River season 4 are all over the board.

With production over or almost over, there’s a good chance we could see Virgin River season 4 as early as spring 2022. Netflix needs at least four to six months to put the season together. April or May 2022 is probably about as early as Netflix could get the new season released.

Because Netflix has so many big shows coming in early 2022, we think Virgin River season 4 will likely be released on Netflix in the summer of 2022, like the third season in 2021.
