Netflix shows canceled: Hit and Run

Hit and Run premiered on Netflix in August 2021. It was canceled a few months later. I’m honestly still a little bit shocked Netflix canceled Hit and Run. It wasn’t a huge hit, but it was on the Netflix Top 10 for a time. We also saw some immediate buzz right after the series was released, and that’s usually a good time.

Hit and Run tells the story of a man seeking revenge after his wife is killed in a hit-and-run accident.

There are lots of twists and turns in this Netflix original series. Coupled with this premise that’s worked in the past for Netflix, it’s even more surprising that this show was canceled. Netflix seems to love renewing shows like this and letting fans find them over time.

It’s unclear why the show was canceled. It’s possible that COVID-19 and the restrictions because of it played a role, but Hit and Run season 2 is not happening on Netflix.

I will say that I don’t think this is the last you’ll see of Lior Raz on Netflix, though.
