F is for Family season 5 has landed on Netflix, and people can’t stop talking about the series finale. F is for Family is one of Netflix’s top adult animation series, and sadly, we have to bid this popular Netflix original series adieu. When Netflix decided to renew the show for a fifth season in October 2020, they announced that the fifth season would be the final season.

We really hate to see this television series go, but F is for Family had a good run. The comedy sitcom has a total of five seasons with a series conclusion. Unfortunately, most TV shows don’t get the same opportunity.

Do Ginny and Eileen get together?

Surprisingly, Ginny and Frank’s sister, Eileen, get together in the fifth season. We knew Ginny had wanted love and affection from someone, but we weren’t expecting it to be from Eileen.

The attraction starts when Eileen compliments Ginny in episode 7. Then, when Frank leaves the house to go to the airport to prepare for Buster Thunder’s jump, he catches Ginny and Eileen making out in his car. However, this isn’t a one-time hookup. In the final episode, Ginny leaves Rustvale for California to be with Eileen.

Were you shocked by this pairing like us? At least, Sue doesn’t have to deal with Ginny anymore.

Do Kevin and Alice end up together in F is for Family season 5?

Yes! Kevin and Alice end up together by the end of the fifth season. The young couple starts the final season off in a relationship and on good terms. But when Kevin becomes too clingy and insecure, Alice breaks up with him.

Kevin tries his hardest to win Alice back, but Alice just won’t take Kevin back. However, when Alice sees Kevin singing to babies at Sue’s baby class, she’s surprised by Kevin and believes he’s changed.

In the last episode, Kevin and Alice start dating again and almost sleep together for the first time.

Does Buster Thunder Jr. make the jump?

After a night of drinking with Frank, we thought there was no way that Buster would be able to drive his motorcycle over an Ala-Hican Boeing 747 plane successfully. Then, when Buster complained about the ramps being positioned wrong for his jump, we really thought he wouldn’t make it. However, Buster makes a successful landing in the end. I guess his pre-ritual of drinking the night before a big jump doesn’t affect him.

Why does Frank get demoted?

Frank was so close to being promoted and getting his Christmas bonus after Buster Thunder Jr. made a successful landing. However, all that goes out the window when Buster Thunder Jr. speaks badly about Ala-Hican Airlines on TV. In order to get promoted and get a bonus, Frank had to come up with an idea to repair Ala-Hican Airlines’ image and boost the company’s profits.

Frank proposed that getting Buster Thunder Jr. to jump one of Ala-Hican’s planes on live TV would bring positive publicity to the company, but Buster had to go and ruin things. Since it was Frank’s idea, Ala-Hican demotes him.

What happened to Pogo?

After Rosie and Pogo team up to take down the mayor and Gagliardi, their plan goes south when their enemies catch them at the Christmas Eve show. Gagliardi aims his gun at both Rosie and Pogo. While Pogo is scared for his life, Rosie is defiant and taunts Gagliardi to shoot him. Pogo turns on Rosie and yells at Gagliardi to shoot Rosie. Gagliardi, tired of hearing Pogo talk, shoots Pogo in the stomach. Pogo survives the shooting but is now paralyzed.

What does box 16 mean?

Box 16 was Big Bill’s last words, and Frank spent the entire season trying to figure out what box 16 meant. After several letdowns, Frank finally figures out the meaning of box 16 from Dick in the season 5 finale. According to Dick, Big Bill didn’t say box 16. He said Bach 16. Bach 16 was Big Bill’s favorite piece of music, and he wanted that song to be played at his funeral.

Frank was disappointed by this information but still honored his dad’s request. He went to the cemetery and played Bach 16 while standing by Big Bill’s tombstone. As Frank leaves the cemetery, he vows to move on with his life.

What happened to Gagliardi?

Gagliardi meets his demise when a big platform holding speakers falls on him and the mayor. When Buster Thunder Jr. gets ready to make his jump, people scramble to their seats, and some try to get on top of high platforms to get a better look. Since so many people are on top of the platforms, they become unsteady and begin crashing to the ground. One ends up falling on Gagliardi and the mayor.

I definitely saw his death coming!

What happened to the mayor?

I was surprised that the mayor was alive after the huge platform fell on him. I mean, he was squashed just like Gagliardi. However, things still do not go well for the mayor because reporter Jim Jeffords secretly recorded the altercation between Rosie, Pogo, Gagliardi, and the mayor. As a result, the mayor is forced to resign from his role and is arrested and charged with accessory to attempted murder and bribery.

Also, with the mayor’s resignation, the Valachi Tollway is canceled.

Does Frank spend Christmas with his family?

He does! Frank comes back home from the bar, apologizes to Sue, and sits down at the dinner table with his family. Just as he’s about to tell his family something, the phone rings. Frank walks over to the phone, picks it up, and is about to yell, but then he looks at his family and realizes that he doesn’t want to be truculent anymore.

He hangs up the phone and goes to sit back at the table. Sue tells Frank that the phone call could’ve been from Ala-Hican. Frank tells her it doesn’t matter and that spending time with his family is more important. Bill makes a joke, and they all laugh. Based on this scene, we can tell that Frank will continue to make an effort to be the best husband and father he can be.
