Outer Banks

I had to include Outer Banks on this list! If you like teen drama and treasure hunting, Outer Banks is the show for you. Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, and Drew Starkey star in the Netflix original series that follows a group of teens on the hunt for long-lost treasure, but that’s just where this series starts.

There are two seasons of Outer Banks on Netflix right now. Outer Banks season 3 is rumored to be in the works. No, Outer Banks is not canceled.

Ozark

If you have a lot of family drama on Thanksgiving, it’s still *probably* nothing compared to the Byrdes in Ozark. When Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) gets in a pinch while money laundering for a cartel, he moves his family to the Ozarks to expand the business opportunities.

Ozark season 4 premieres on Netflix in January 2022.

Sweet Magnolias

Like Virgin River, Sweet Magnolias is another great show to watch for Thanksgiving. It has that small-town drama, romance, and high-ish stakes to keep everyone entertained.
