The new film serves as an origin story to the fabled Saint Nick who, to millions across the world, is a Christmas legend. However, before he was this huge icon, he was just a wee boy with plenty of hope to move mountains and move hearts.

The cast of A Boy Called Christmas consists of Downtown Abbey actress Maggie Smith who plays Aunt Ruth, Isabella O’Sullivan as Andrea, Joel Fry as Matt, Eden Lawrence as Patrick, Ayomide Garrick as Moppet, Jim Broadbent as King, Henry Lawfull as Nikolas and The Haunting of Hill House actor Michiel Huisman playing the role of Joel in the newly released title.
