Inventing Anna trailer teases real hot girl sh*t in the Shondaland drama

Inventing Anna, the upcoming drama from Shonda Rhimes and Shondaland, is set to be next year’s obsession. The 10 episode Netflix original series follows the life of Anna Delvey, a real life con-woman who convinced the New York socialite scene that she was a German heiress.

Delvey was only in her mid-twenties at the time, but she picked the pockets of the Big Apple’s high class members with charm and a smile.

The series, inspired by Jessica Pressler’s “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People,” covers Anna’s time deceiving those who were closest to the persona she created.

It also delves into the life of Vivian, a reporter who sees Anna’s story as the means for reviving her flagging career. But it’s the decadence and scheming that’s likely to grab viewers the moment Inventing Anna drops on Netflix in 2022.

The teaser trailer released for the drama promises “real hot girl sh*t” from the series with Megan Thee Stallion and City Girls trading lyrics over footage of Anna living it up with her friends and Vivian piecing her story together.

As Anna proclaims from a jail line-up, “Anna Delvey is a masterpiece, b**ches,” so we’re in for quite the ride with this notorious fake.

Whether she’s luxuriating pool side at a world class hotel or vacationing wherever and whenever she wants, Anna always makes sure she secures the bag even if it means stealing. She’ll do whatever she needs to do in order to land on top for as long as she can.
