The Princess Switch 3 spoilers: Is the Star of Peace real?

In Netflix’s latest addition to its The Princess Switch franchise, viewers are transported back to the kingdom of Montenaro for another magical adventure complete with more than a few unexpected switches, plenty of romance and a heist centering around a priceless relic.

At the heart of the film is the Star of Peace, a priceless relic that once belonged to Saint Nicolas himself which is loaned to Queen Margaret and Princess Stacy by the Vatican to commemorate their holiday celebration. When the relic is stolen, Margaret and Stacy must enlist help from Fiona to retrieve it in time for the Christmas Eve tree lighting which paves the way for the rest of the movie.

While this is a fictitious rom-com, the best fictional stories are often rooted in reality which likely has you questioning whether the Star of Peace is a real relic or a fictional relic created by the writers as part of the movie’s storyline.

Is The Star Peace from The Princess Switch 3 real?

Although the storyline behind the Star of Peace told at the beginning of The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star is quite compelling and is rooted in some truth as Saint Nicolas is a real Saint, the Star of Peace is not a real relic.

That’s right, the Star of Peace is not a real relic, rather it’s a work of fiction crafted entirely by the writers as part of the film’s storyline which isn’t likely to come as too much of a surprise given the writers have crafted other fictional elements for the film such as the kingdom in which the franchise is set.
