Ahead of the series premiere of the live-action adaptation for Cowboy Bebop in November 2021, fans have been feeling some major nostalgia towards their favorite 1998 anime series.

We certainly don’t blame them for these feelings as we, too, have been desperate to see Spike Spiegel on our screens again, even if it meant rewatching the 2001 film, Cowboy BeBop: The Movie (a.k.a. Cowboy BeBop: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door).

Is Cowboy Bebop: The Movie on Netflix?

As of November 2021, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie is not available to watch on Netflix. Though the streaming platform recently added the original Cowboy Bebop anime to its lineup, conversely, it has not added the iconic 2001 and we are not too sure why.

Naturally, this may come as disappointing news for those who, like us, prefer watching everything involving Spike Spiegel in one place.

Where to watch Cowboy Bebop: The Movie

For now, the only option that is available for anime fans who want to view the movie is through purchasing the film on Amazon Video. On the retailer site, the film can only be purchased as a DVD or as Blu-Ray. It is not available on-demand.

Since it’s been about 20 years since the movie was released, it is fairly unlikely that the movie will ever arrive on streaming sites, but we will be sure to update you when or if this ever changes.

While you wait to hear more updates concerning where to stream the 2001 movie, feel free to stream every single episode of the anime series on Netflix as well as the upcoming live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop heading your way this Friday, Nov. 19!
