Netflix is adding 52 new movies and shows this week

It’s Halloween week! Spooky time is officially here but so is the beginning of November. How did that happen? Time is an illusion. But beyond the beginning of a new month, this week also brings a bunch of new movies and shows to Netflix.

Whether you’re looking for a new western film, a new season of a popular animated series, or a new rom-com, the streaming service has something for everyone.

The Harder They Fall hits Netflix this week on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021. The movie follows an outlaw, Nat Love, and his gang as they seek revenge against their collective enemy, Rufus Buck, who has just been released from prison.

The film stars Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz, RJ Cyler, Damon Wayans Jr., LaKeith Standfield, Delroy Lindo, and Idris Elba. With a cast like this, you know it’s going to be good.

Big Mouth and Love Hard coming to Netflix this week

Big Mouth is also back on Netflix this week for its fifth season. It hits the streaming service on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021. The animated show follows a group of friends who are going through puberty.

But they aren’t going through it alone, they have help from different characters including multiple Hormone Monsters, the ghost of Duke Ellington, and a French Statue of Liberty. If Duke Ellington could have helped me through puberty, it probably would have gone a lot smoother.

The show features the voices of Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, and Jordan Peele.

More in the mood for a rom-com? Love Hard is coming to Netflix on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021. The movie follows Natalie Bauer, a woman who is unlucky in love. But she soon falls for a guy across the country and decides to surprise him for the holidays.

Unfortunately, when she gets there, she realizes he is not who he said he was. She was catfished. But maybe she can still find the love she’s looking for. Love Hard stars Nina Dobrev, Jimmy O. Yang, Harry Shum Jr., Darren Barnet, and James Saito.
