Outer Banks star Jonathan Daviss is winning Halloween 2021 so far with his Miles Morales/Spider-Man costume.

Daviss, who stars in Outer Banks as Pope and took on a much bigger part of the story in Outer Banks season 2, shared pictures of himself as Miles Morales/Spider-Man on Twitter over Halloween weekend 2021.

Davis looks great as Miles Morales! Here’s to hoping that, one day, Daviss has a chance to bring the character to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Is Jonathan Daviss playing Miles Morales?

With Daviss dressing up as Miles Morales for Halloween, there are bound to be a few rumors and some speculation about the actor starring as Morales in a live-action Spider-Man movie and joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Miles Morales is played by Shameik Moore in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse animated movies. Moore would have been the perfect pick to play Morales if the character was joining the MCU. Moore is getting a little older now (he’s 26), and it doesn’t look there are any immediate plans to introduce Morales into the MCU, which means the movies are at least three or four years away.

Daviss makes so much more sense. By then, Outer Banks, sadly, will probably be over. We’ve seen how talented Daviss is and how is acting prowess can carry a story for 10 episodes in Outer Banks season 2.

Looking at the possible actors who could star as Morales, Daviss definitely has to be on the shortlist, and he’d be my pick to play the character.

Hopefully, we’ll get to see it one day!
