Is Night Teeth 2 happening on Netflix?

The twist at the end of Night Teeth, Netflix’s new vampire thriller released in celebration of the spooky season, left many questioning what the future holds for college student Benny (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.) and his vampire girlfriend Blaire (Debby Ryan). So it’s no surprise to find many social media users are wondering if Night Teeth 2 is happening or not.

Will there be a Night Teeth 2

Unfortunately, as reported by Decider, at this time: “There are no official plans for a Night Teeth sequel.”

That being said, the ending of Night Teeth was left pretty open, so there’s room for the story to continue should Netflix choose to revisit the vampire thriller. And fans shouldn’t be too distressed yet, after all, it should be remembered that the movie was only released on Oct. 20, 2021, so it’s still early.

In a recent interview with Distractify, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. also expressed his wishes for a sequel, giving plenty of hope to fans that we could see something in the works.

"“I hope there’s a sequel. What’s gonna happen in the second one, man, maybe just more closure? You know, I feel like it definitely is a coming-of-age story, as well as a horror thriller. So it’s like, what does Benny do now that he has more power, now that he has more foresight on what’s happening in the world? You know, what does he do with his turn on top?”"

Night Teeth 2 release date updates

As mentioned above, as of Halloween weekend, there are no updates on Night Teeth 2, but if Netflix does decide to give the thriller a sequel it’s very likely that it would be released around Halloween time, too.

The earliest we could see Night Teeth 2 will be October 2022, but until there’s an official update on the future from Netflix we can’t know for certain.
