New Christmas movies on Netflix November 2021

Even though some people prefer to hold onto the fall season until after Thanksgiving, others can’t help but switch right into Christmas mode. If you’re the latter, there are so many movies coming to Netflix in November, including a number of great new Christmas movies.

The slate of Christmas movies coming to Netflix in November features a handful of children’s movies, some romance movies, and — of course — lots of new Netflix original movies. Stars like Nina Dobrev, Brooke Shields, and Vanessa Hudgens are helping us celebrate the season.

Love Hard

Release Date: Nov. 5

Love Hard premieres on Netflix on Nov. 5, and it kicks off the new original holiday movie slate on the streamer. The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev headlines this charming rom-com.

Dobrev plays a Los Angeles woman who travels across the country to surprise a guy she’s hit it off with on a dating app for Christmas. However, she soon discovers she’s been catfished. Love Hard also stars Never Have I Ever breakout Darren Barnet and Jimmy O. Yang.

The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star

Release Date: Nov. 18

Vanessa Hudgens returns for the third entry in the Princess Switch saga with The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star. Once again, the talented singer-actress will be tackling multiple roles for the second sequel to the fan-favorite Netflix Christmas movie.

A Boy Called Christmas

Release Date: Nov. 24

A Boy Called Christmas is a new family holiday movie that’s directly centered in the popular mythology surrounding Christmas that kids will absolutely love.

While this one isn’t animated, the movie tracks the origin story of Father Christmas as a young boy sets off on a journey with his pet mouse and a reindeer by his side to find his father. It’s an inspirational and uplifting new Christmas classic in the making.

A Castle for Christmas

Release Date: Nov. 30

Brooke Shields brings her charm to Netflix for A Castle for Christmas, in which she stars as an author with the hopes of purchasing a castle in Scotland, only to butt heads (and maybe fall for) the grouchy owner.
