On the list of new horror movies for the Netflix and Chills lineup this year is Hypnotic, starring horror queen Kate Siegel. With a quick runtime of 88 minutes, this film is an entertaining watch and is bound to have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Hypnotic follows the character Jenn Thompson (Siegel), a woman a bit lost in her ways who decides, after a friend’s recommendation, to start seeing a new therapist. Dr. Collin Meade (Jason O’Mara) seems like a fancy doctor, whose specialty is hypnotherapy. Jenn agrees to try it, and immediately her life turns around.

Jenn gets the job she wants and seems like an overall happier and more successful person. However, as she keeps getting more hypnotherapy, she realizes that things aren’t exactly adding up. She loses time, and bad things start happening to the people in her life.

Throughout Hypnotic, it’s difficult to figure out who Jenn should trust, if anybody.
