No good Halloween list would be complete without a few zombies and, by our standards, there really is no better zombie title around than The CW’s iZombie.

After being turned into a member of the undead at a college rager, medical resident Olivia “Liv” Moore takes a job at the Medical Examiner’s Office in order to — you guessed it — have access to the brains she now needs to survive. However, this isn’t your standard girl turns into zombie and must eat brains just to survive story.

As Liv discovers, when she eats a brain she absorbs their memories which allows her to help assist the police in solving the murders of the victims whose brain she’s eaten. Memories aren’t the only thing she absorbs when eating these brains, though, as she also absorbs the personality traits of the victims leading to some truly hilarious hijinks along the way.

Needless to say, iZombie is far from your traditional zombie title which is what makes it so unique and a must-watch for those looking for a more lighthearted offering this Halloween season.
