The Netflix original series You is arguably one of the scariest titles that the streaming platform has ever added because, while the show may not have jumpscares or hungry zombies following these characters around, the series has something much worse that is sure to send shivers down your spine: A lovestruck stalker.

Our lead protagonist, Joe, constantly pushes the envelope when it comes to love as he relentlessly follows around the unlucky girl he has set his sights on and goes above and beyond to make sure that girl is his and his only.

Whether it be a quick kill or a slow torture chamber, Joe is willing to do it all for his lover, and it would be anyone’s biggest mistake of their lives if they got in his way.

You may not be the Halloween horror you were initially looking for, but after one episode, you will certainly lock the doors, lower the blinds, and hide under the bedsheets as if you just watched one.
