You might think that because it’s getting closer to the end of the month there aren’t any big Netflix movies or shows coming the rest of the month. But you would be wrong! There’s a much-anticipated prequel to a popular zombie film, a new series based on the life of a famous football player and activist, and a new psychological thriller that might have you giving the side-eye to your therapist.

Army of Thieves, the prequel to The Army of the Dead, hits Netflix on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021. It features Matthias Schweighöfer, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, and Guz Khan.

The movie follows safecracker, Ludwig Dieter, from the first film. But this time he, along with a group of fellow thieves, is working on a top-secret heist at the very beginning of the zombie apocalypse. It all begins when a woman hires Dieter to help her and her crew crack three of the most difficult safes across Europe.

This week also brings Colin in Black & White on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021. The series tells the story of football player and activist Colin Kaepernick during his years in high school and shows what brought him to become the person we know today. The show was created by Kaepernick himself along with director Ava DuVernay.

The series features Kaepernick as the narrator while Jaden Michael plays a young Colin. The show also stars Mary-Louise Parker and Nick Offerman as Kaepernick’s adoptive parents.
