Is Scream 2 on Netflix?

Another Scream sequel is headed to the big screen next year, and many subscribers are probably wondering if the first follow-up, Scream 2, is available on Netflix.

Wes Craven was a master of suspense, and one of his best achievements within the thrilling genre was, without a doubt, the horror movie, Scream. This remarkable endeavor would be the start of a long-running franchise spanning both the big and small screen, and the beginning of the franchise’s expansion started with Scream 2.

The second chapter in the Scream saga takes place two years after the events of the first installment and follows Sidney Prescott, who is attending the fictional Windsor College when she and others become the target of a copycat killer wearing the iconic Ghostface mask.

Neve Campbell returns as Prescott, along with Courteney Cox, Jaime Kennedy, Liev Schreiber, and David Arquette. In addition, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Laurie Metcalf, Jerry Oconnell, Timothy Olyphant, Jada Pinkett were added to the cast for Scream 2.

The frightening feature has an impressive score on Rotten Tomatoes for a sequel, and it’s not surprising to find out that there are some out there curious to know if Scream 2 is an option on the streamer.

Is Scream 2 on Netflix?

Nobody likes being stabbed or receiving bad news. Fortunately, no one will receive a knife wound, but unfortunately, the truth about Scream 2 not being on Netflix must be revealed. The slasher sequel doesn’t occupy a place in the rotation on the streamer as of October 2021.

This is less than ideal for several reasons, especially for anyone trying to relieve all of the terrifying moments the feature has to offer. But fortunately, Netflix has many other options, including Army for the Dead, Things Heard & Seen, The Ritual, the Fear Street trilogy, and many more!
