Best Netflix movies: The Kissing Booth

The Kissing Booth is one of the most popular Netflix original movies ever. It was watched by millions shortly after its release on the streaming service.

The movie is based on the book of the same name by Beth Reekles. The film tells the story of Elle (Joey King), a teenager who is best friends with Lee (Joel Courtney). They share the same birthday, and Lee is the closest person to Elle after her mother passed away. They have a list of rules they stick to, but Elle considers breaking the rules when she starts to have feelings for Lee’s brother, Noah (Elordi).

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of this movie, but there’s no way we can keep it off the list. It’s just too good and too popular among Netflix and fans and those who like teen rom-coms to keep it off.

The film was so popular that Netflix made a sequel to the film, and it was released in July 2020. There’s already a third movie in the works, as well.
