Set It Up is one of Netflix’s most successful romantic comedies yet. The film tells the story of two workaholics who are stuck in personal assistant jobs and always working. The pair, played by Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell, form a plan to set their bosses up with each other romantically. The thought here is that the bosses will fall in love, spend time together, and not work as much. Will it work for them?

Clearly, this rom-com follows a lot of genre tropes and common storylines, but it’s really good and funny. I was especially impressed with Deutch and Powell and their chemistry in the film.

Set It Up was released on Netflix in the spring of 2018. There are rumors that Set It Up 2 is already in the works at Netflix. We hope these rumors are true. This is one of Netflix’s best romantic comedies yet, and that’s saying something. The streaming network has become known for their great romantic comedies like To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, The Kissing Booth, and more.
