Army of the Dead premiered on Netflix on May 14, 2021. In the first few weeks after its release, Army of the Dead is one of the most popular Netflix movies of all time.

The Netflix movie, directed by Zack Snyder, tells the story of a group of hired guns who go into Las Vegas, ground zero of the zombie apocalypse, to recover more than $200 million from a casino. After an outbreak occurs, the United States boxes in the city (literally) and leaves it to the zombies, who aren’t your ordinary zombies. These new zombies, called Alphas, can definitely think for themselves and they’re super-fast and strong!

Oh, and the United States government is dropping a nuclear bomb on the city so this ragtag team is really up against the clock… and zombies.

Will they make it out alive? You’ll have to see it to believe it!

Army of the Dead is going to be a huge franchise for Netflix. There’s a sequel rumored to be in development, along with a prequel and an anime series.
