The Baby-Sitters Club season 2 premieres on Monday, Oct. 11 returning fans of the Netflix original series to lives of the group of friends they fell in love with in 2020.

The girls are kicking off a new school year and have two new additions to their circle–Jessi Ramsey and Mallory Pike. As is typical with this show, viewers will be treated to an episode that zeroes in on a particular life issue that one of the baby-sitters is working through or must confront.

In season 1, the girls dealt with friendship kerfluffles, budding romances, life changes, and health concerns all while learning to run their business. They made it through every challenge thanks to their bond and the support of their families. The show’s sophomore season will follow the same beat with new life lessons set to teach the baby-sitters more about themselves and each other.

This series, based on the best-selling books by Ann M. Martin, falls under Netflix‘s tween banner, an in-between place for kids looking for more mature programming but not wanting to stray too far toward the teen content the streamer is known for.

Here’s what we know about The Baby-Sitters Club‘s age rating.

The Baby-Sitters Club season 2 age rating

The series is rated TV-G on Netflix, however, we should reiterate that the show is geared toward tweens and younger teenagers. The baby-sitters are all coming-of-age and learning about life, love, and their bodies.

The show doesn’t shy away from the realities of growing up from the start of menstruation to health issues experienced by kids their age and the adults in their lives. Though even in light of this, The Baby-Sitters Club retains its air of kid-like wonder because it is meant for children to enjoy and learn along side the girls.

If your child is fine viewing some of the older programming on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon then they’ll be fine watching The Baby-Sitters Club.
