By D.J. Rivera
Everyone loves a good western, especially one with such a compelling cast, which is precisely why several subscribers are most assuredly wondering if Old Henry is an option to stream on Netflix.
There is a lot of drama movies with cowboy-esque characters popping up, including Cry Macho and the 2021 feature that premiered at the Venice Film Festival, Old Henry. The well-crafted feature follows a widowed farmer named Henry and his son Wyatt who take in an injured man named Curry, who has a satchel of money and three bank robbers on his tail.
Starring in this brilliant motion picture is Tim Blake Nelson, Scott haze, Gavin Lewis, Trace Adkins, and Stephen Dorf. In addition, Old Henry was written and directed by Potsy Ponciroli.
So far, their efforts would seem to have been a success as the movie has been getting great reviews, including earning the coveted Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Is Old Henry on Netflix?
Unfortunately, the feature film Old Henry is not an option on Netflix, and there seem to be no immediate plans in play for that to change.
While this news is anything but good for anyone out there hoping to enjoy the western motion picture, it is wise to remember that many other exceptional titles of the same genre occupy a place within the streaming powerhouse’s library. Some of these fine examples include American Outlawz, The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, Wind River, and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, just to name a few.
