Queen of the South is one of the most popular TV shows on Netflix. It makes for a great binge-watch even though it’s not a Netflix original series.

The series premiered on USA Network in 2016. The series is based on the telenovela and the books of the same name, La Reina del Sur by Arturo Pérez-Reverte. It tells the story of a woman in Mexico who starts her own drug ring after fleeing to the United States following the murder for her boyfriend at the hands of a drug cartel.

If you like shows like Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Ozark, and other dramas, you’re going to like Queen of the South. 

There have been five seasons of Queen of the South so far. The fifth season is also the final season. The season finale aired on June 9, 2021.

Unfortunately, there are only four seasons of Queen of the South available to stream on Netflix right now. Queen of the South season 5 is not coming to Netflix anytime soon. We’re expecting the new season will be added to Netflix in the spring of 2022.
