Locke & Key is based on the graphic novel series of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rogriguez. The Netflix original series premiered on Netflix in February 2020, and it’s one of the best new Netflix shows of the year so far.

The series tells the story of the Locke family, a mom and three kids, who move across the country from Seattle to the Massachusetts coast to their father and husband’s childhood home, a funky house known as Keyhouse.

There, the Locke kids begin finding magical keys that give them special abilities. Unfortunately, they aren’t the only ones who know about said keys, and their lives have never been in more danger.

Locke & Key season 2 is officially in the works and coming to Netflix in October 2021.
